Designed for bird photographers, this Cat Tien program uses carefully managed hides and forest birding to create optimal opportunities for pittas, pheasants, and other lowland specialties while strictly adhering to Wildtour and Cat Tien National Park ethical protocols. The itinerary remains flexible because bird activity, weather, and hide use vary from day to day.

Key hide targets include the stunning Bar-bellied and Blue-rumped Pittas, alongside Germain's Peacock-Pheasant, Siamese Fireback, Scaly-breasted Partridge, and crakes. Trail excursions complement the hides, offering high-value photo opportunities for three broadbill species, diverse woodpeckers, Orange-breasted Trogon, and Banded Kingfisher across a flexible, activity-driven schedule.

We highly recommend staying at the park for at least 2 nights to cover the highlights, but extending your stay to 4 nights gives you the best chance to capture every target species.
