Wildtour supports biodiversity surveys, avifauna assessment, wetland monitoring, shorebird conservation, ecological education and conservation planning.
At Wildtour, we truly believe in the power of collaboration. We bridge the gap between rigorous science, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development through the core services areas:
Wildtour collaborate with global and local allies to conduct critical wildlife surveys that provide the scientific foundation for protecting Vietnam’s ecosystems. We provide biodiversity-related services to conservation organizations, protected areas, universities, and local authorities. Its strongest foundation is field ornithology, supported by a broader expert network covering botany, mammalogy, bats, reptiles, amphibians, soil science, wetlands, and mycology.
We partner with leading consultancy firms to deliver Biodiversity Asssesment and Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) for renewable energy and national development projects. Our work ensures these projects meet the highest international benchmarks, including IFC and ADB compliance standards.
Wildtour provides biodiversity-related technical support for renewable energy and infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on bird, bat and wildlife baseline surveys, ecological screening, impact assessment support and biodiversity monitoring. The company’s role is to help project teams understand ecological risks early, design practical survey programs and develop mitigation recommendations suited to local species, habitats and seasonal movements.

Our key expertises include:
Bird and migratory bird baseline surveys, including seasonal activity and habitat use.
Bat surveys using field observation and acoustic monitoring where appropriate.
Biodiversity screening for sensitive habitats and species of conservation concern.
Support to environmental impact assessment teams with field data, species interpretation and mitigation recommendations.
Post-construction or operational monitoring design where required by project commitments.
Building conservation awareness from the field outward
Wildtour also believe that education, training, and public outreach are essential for transforming scientific knowledge into meaningful conservation action. Through field-based education programs, professional training, public outreach events, publications, digital products, and practical knowledge resources, we share expertise, build capacity, and inspire greater public engagement with nature. By making scientific knowledge more accessible, we help bridge the gap between research and real-world conservation.
Environmental Education Program
Education is one of the most effective ways to inspire environmental awareness, especially among younger generations. Our field-based programs give students the opportunity to experience birds, forests, wetlands, farming landscapes, and local culture firsthand while developing a deeper appreciation for nature and conservation.
Training and Public Outreach
Wildtour’s technical, training, and public outreach work is an important part of its conservation identity. The company has trained national park staff and guides, supported field courses and public conservation programs, and helped translate ecological knowledge into outreach for students, communities and visitors. Our key activities include:
Bird identification and birdwatching guide training.
Field ecology and biodiversity monitoring support.
Youth and community conservation awareness.
Public communication through media, events and exhibitions.
The knowledge products that make Vietnam's bird diversity more accessible to visitors, students, researchers, protected-area staff, and the wider public. These resources support bird identification, education, tourism, and conservation.
Wildtour’s credibility is strengthened by knowledge products that make Vietnamese bird diversity more accessible to visitors, birdwatchers, students, researchers, protected-area staff and the wider public.

Wildbird Hotel and Senta Farm provide Wildtour with a place-based platform for student environmental education near Tram Chim National Park. The programs are designed as field-based learning experiences, allowing students to observe birds, wetlands
Environmental Education
Wildtour helps aviation safety teams reduce bird-strike risks. Having conducted courses across Vietnam’s national airport system, we offer practical training in bird identification, field observation, hazard recognition, tailored risk-mitigation strategy
Training Consultant
Wind power is a fairly new technology to Viet Nam; however, it is one of the fastest growing renewable energy sources. In recent years, numerous windfarm projects have been built, and more are planned throughout Viet Nam, especially along the coastal zone
ESIA Consultant
Since 2017, Wildtour has pioneered biodiversity impact studies for renewable energy and infrastructure developments across Indochina. We assist investors in managing biodiversity risks and fostering nature positive outcomes.

The project aim to promote using mycorrhizal fungi for reforestation and to raise awareness of local communities in reforestation and sustained living with native forest with the set up of the sustainable reforestation model.
Conservation
Phase II aims to deliver novel conservation on selected priority coastal wetland sites based on the evidence collected in Phase I.
Shorebird Conservation
The project reassessed key Mekong Delta coastal sites to evaluate shorebird habitats and threats, establishing a foundation for prioritized conservation actions in the next phase.
Shorebird Conservation
The survey aims to locate the endangered White-eared Night Heron in Ba Bể and Na Hang – Lâm Bình. Unrecorded since 2012, the project will verify nesting sites and establish community-led conservation groups to protect the species.
