Vietnam Wildlife Tours & Research started the project since 2012 to develop Vietnam Bird Guide, a free apps now available for both iOS and Android devices. The application is a product of many year's effort in collection of photographs and sounds as well as detail information compilation of each species including distribution range within Vietnam, birding spots appearance that birders may go to see, taxonomy notes and more.

With the Vietnam Bird Guide Apps, you can:
- Identify species by searching name in English, Vietnamese or Scientific languages
- Listen to learn bird calls
- Browse species in gallery view and filter by distribution range, shape, size, birding spots, colors, etc
- Play birdquiz to test and improve your bird identification skills with multiple-choice quizzes
